This plugin can connect directly from your WordPress site to the following external
services.
 No data is ever sent to Content Weaver servers in Lite.

### OpenAI API (chat/completions)

 * **When:** Only if you select provider “OpenAI” and enter an OpenAI API key in
   the settings.
 * **What:** Model name and your prompt/messages (the API key is sent in the Authorization
   header).
 * **Why:** To generate or rewrite text content on Manual and RSS rewrite pages.

### DeepSeek API (chat/completions)

 * **When:** Only if you select provider “DeepSeek” and enter a DeepSeek API key.

### Openverse API (Public Domain images)

 * **When:** Only if you choose **Public Domain (Openverse)** as your Featured Image
   mode.
 * **What:** A search query derived from your post title/content.
 * **Why:** To suggest or download public domain (CC0) images.

### User-Provided RSS Feeds

 * **When:** When you run the RSS Lite importer.
 * **What:** Standard HTTP request to the feed URL you configure.
 * **Why:** To retrieve items to rewrite and import as drafts (up to 3 per run).

**Notes:**
 – Lite never sends data to Content Weaver servers. – OpenAI/DeepSeek
requests are only made when you explicitly provide an API key.

## 安装

 1. Upload the `contentweaver-ai-lite` folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`.
 2. Activate the plugin through **Plugins  Installed Plugins** in WordPress.
 3. Go to **Content Weaver AI Lite** in your admin menu.
 4. Enter your provider, API key, and model on the Dashboard.
 5. Configure a single RSS feed under “RSS Lite” and click **Run Now**.

## 常见问题

### Can I use Lite without an API key?

Yes. You can still use the Spintax tools locally with no network calls.
 AI text
generation and RSS rewriting require an OpenAI-compatible API key.

### Does Lite send data to Content Weaver servers?

No. Lite never calls Content Weaver servers. It only communicates directly with 
your selected OpenAI-compatible provider using your key.

### Which providers are supported?

Any OpenAI-compatible provider, including OpenAI and DeepSeek.
 Non-compatible APIs
are not supported in Lite.

### Does Lite generate images?

Not directly. Lite can pull **Public Domain** images via Openverse for Featured 
Images.
 AI image generation is part of Content Weaver Pro.

### Do my Lite API keys carry over to Pro?

No. Lite uses your own API keys.
 Pro uses Content Weaver’s managed API infrastructure
and provider keys — optimized for speed, reliability, and higher token limits. You’ll
never need to enter your own keys in Pro.

### Can I add affiliate links?

Yes. Lite lets you add your own affiliate callouts into generated content.
 Pro 
automates affiliate placement and link management inside generated posts.
