## 描述

Dropndot Post Subtitle allows you to easily add subtitles (subheadings) to your 
WordPress posts, pages, and custom post types. The plugin integrates seamlessly 
with both Gutenberg and Classic Editor, and provides full support for modern WordPress
development with WPGraphQL and REST API integration.

#### Usage

**Shortcode:**

    ```
    [dropposu_subtitle]
    ```

**In Theme Templates:**

    ```
    <?php dropposu_subtitle(); ?>
    ```

**With HTML Wrapper:**

    ```
    <?php dropposu_subtitle(0, '<h2 class="subtitle">', '</h2>'); ?>
    ```

**WPGraphQL:**

    ```
    query {
      post(id: "/my-post/", idType: SLUG) {
        title
        subtitle
      }
    }
    ```

**REST API:**

Access via `/wp-json/wp/v2/posts/123` – response includes `dropposu_subtitle` field.

#### Functions

**dropposu_subtitle( $post_id, $before, $after )**

Display the subtitle.

Parameters:
 * `$post_id` (int) – Post ID. Default: current post * `$before` (string)–
HTML before subtitle * `$after` (string) – HTML after subtitle

**get_dropposu_subtitle( $post_id, $before, $after )**

Get the subtitle (returns string, does not echo).

Parameters:
 * `$post_id` (int) – Post ID. Default: current post * `$before` (string)–
HTML before subtitle * `$after` (string) – HTML after subtitle

## 安装

 1. Upload the plugin files to `/wp-content/plugins/dropndot-post-subtitle/`
 2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress
 3. Go to Settings  Dropndot Post Subtitle to configure which post types should support
    subtitles
 4. Start adding subtitles to your posts!

## 常见问题

### Where is the subtitle field in Gutenberg?

The subtitle field appears in the right sidebar panel, below the Featured Image 
section. Make sure you have enabled subtitle support for that post type in Settings
Dropndot Post Subtitle.

### Where is the subtitle field in Classic Editor?

The subtitle field appears right after the title field at the top of the editor.

### How do I display the subtitle in my theme?

Use `<?php dropposu_subtitle(); ?>` in your theme template files where you want 
the subtitle to appear.

### Can I use subtitles with custom post types?

Yes! Go to Settings  Dropndot Post Subtitle and enable subtitle support for any 
public post type.

### Does this work with WPGraphQL?

Yes! The plugin automatically adds a `subtitle` field to all supported post types
in your GraphQL schema.

### Does this work with the REST API?

Yes! Subtitles are available via the `dropposu_subtitle` field in REST API responses.

### Can I use shortcodes?

Yes! Use `[dropposu_subtitle]` in your content or widgets.
