## 描述

**Elmo** is PrivacyLab’s tool for managing cookies.

It allows you to verify, catalog and properly manage the compliance of your site
to the GDPR.

With **Elmo** you keep under control all the consents expressed in the cookie banner,
and you can collect them in the “register of consents” required by law.
 **Elmo**‘
s consent log is certified! More help to prove your compliance with GDPR.

With **Elmo** you can automatically create guaranteed and certified treatments and
information, and you can also create your own cookie banner starting from the information
of the site you already have.

## 安装

 1. Install the plugin on your WordPress site
 2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
 3. Go to the ‘Elmo’ menu and add your Elmo code

Elmo is incredibly easy to install and configure. Even if you’re not tech-savvy,
you’ll find the setup process straightforward and quick. The intuitive interface
ensures that you can manage your cookie settings without any hassle. (before installing
the plugin, it is essential to buy it and activate it on its dedicated site).

I used this plugin because some Clients asked specifically due their contract with
Privacy consultants. But, to my opinion the whole App does not works. First, the
plugin makes JS conflicts with many features, second cookie execution needs to be
applied by some technical expert so you need to ask by email (by email? yes, dude!).
Third, when a cookie is blocked, nothing tells you so some features of the website
will remain no-working and you don’t know why (es. Google cookie stopped, no message
on Tube video to alert you the video is blocked and you need to accept the cookie
policy to activate it).
