It also requires the EntGenAI companion plugin. The admin interface provides a way to use AI to generate lists of words and hints for your crosswords. It also provides a way to use the Entreveloper crossword generation tool to automatically create a crossword from your word list. All the above functionality is optional. Install and activate the EntGenAI companion plugin first. Configure your preferred AI Provider (LLM) in the plugin admin interface. 2. Download and copy EV Crosswords to your Plugins directory. 3. Activate EV Crosswords through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress. 4. Navigate to Dashboard Crosswords Settings Config to configure your AI provider and Entreveloper key (both optional). 5. Navigate to Dashboard Crosswords Settings Generate to create a word list (manually or via AI) and then generate a crossword from it. 6. Save the crossword and add it to any page as a block using the WordPress Block Editor. AI generation features also require an API key from a supported provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or a local Ollama installation). ### Does this plugin modify any core WordPress, plugin or theme files?
