 3. Set discount percentages or amounts for each group
 4. Assign users to groups

#### Automatic Installation (Recommended)

 1. Log in to your WordPress admin panel
 2. Navigate to **Plugins > Add New**
 3. Search for “Groups Discount for WooCommerce”
 4. Click **Install Now** and then **Activate**
 5. Install and activate the [Groups plugin](https://wordpress.org/plugins/groups/)(
    required)
 6. Go to **WooCommerce > Groups Discount** to configure your settings

#### Manual Installation

 1. Download the plugin ZIP file
 2. Log in to your WordPress admin panel
 3. Navigate to **Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin**
 4. Choose the ZIP file and click **Install Now**
 5. Click **Activate Plugin**
 6. Install and activate the [Groups plugin](https://wordpress.org/plugins/groups/)(
    required)
 7. Go to **WooCommerce > Groups Discount** to configure your settings

#### Initial Setup

 1. **Create Groups**: Go to **Groups > Groups** and create customer groups (e.g., “
    Wholesale”, “VIP”, “Premium”)
 2. **Set Discounts**: Navigate to **WooCommerce > Groups Discount > Groups** tab
 3. **Enter Discount Values**:
 4.  * For percentage discounts: Enter 0.1 for 10% off, 0.15 for 15% off, etc.
     * For fixed amounts: Enter the discount amount in your store currency
 5. **Configure Method**: Go to the **Method** tab to choose discount type and display
    options
 6. **Assign Users**: Add your customers to the appropriate groups under **Users > 
    All Users**

That’s it! Your group-based pricing is now active.

### What discount methods are available?

You can choose between two methods:
 * **Rate (Percentage)** – For example, 0.1 
= 10% discount, 0.25 = 25% discount * **Fixed Amount** – For example, 5 = $5 off,
10 = $10 off (in your store currency)

### Can I apply discounts to products already on sale?

Yes! You can choose to apply the group discount to either:
 * **Regular prices**–
Ignores sale prices * **Sale prices** – Applies discount to sale price if available,
otherwise to regular price

This gives you complete flexibility in how discounts stack.

### What happens if a user belongs to multiple groups?

You have complete control! Choose from four priority methods:
 * **Higher discount**–
User gets the best deal (recommended) * **Lower discount** – User gets the smallest
discount * **Higher group ID** – Based on group creation order * **Lower group ID**–
Based on group creation order

### Can I set different discounts for different products?

The free version applies discounts globally to all products based on user groups.

### Will customers see the original price?

You decide! There’s an option to display both the original and discounted prices,

all variations.

No! The plugin is optimized for performance and works with WooCommerce caching.

I’ve set up all groups with discounts like “Registered 0 (empty field in options)”,“
VIP 5%”, “VIP 10%”, “VIP 15%”, “VIP 20%”, “VIP 30%”. Groups with discount work properly,
but the main group “Registered” for some reason screwed prices. For example, if 
a product price was £17, client in a “Registered” group, with no discount now sees
£16.99. If I disable plugin, everything go back to normal. Only visitors (not registered)
see correct prices when the plugin in active.
