Download wp-jv-post-reading-groups.zip 2. Extract to `/wp-content/plugins/wp-jv-post-reading-groups` directory 3. 通过WordPress的的“Plugins”菜单激活插件 ## 常见问题 ### How to create Reading Groups? Go to Settings -> Reading to create your Reading Groups. ### How to assign Reading Groups to Users? Go to Users -> All Users and select a non-admin user (admins have access to all RGs anyway) and grant permissions to Reading Groups of your choice. When you add a New User you will be able to select Reading Groups as well. ### How to assign Reading Groups to Posts? Go to Posts -> Edit Post and select who will be able to read that post. **Don’t forget to publish that post privately.** ### I added a page/post to the menu as custom link. Why is it visible for everyone? The plugin does not remove any links added to the menu this way as it is unable to distinguish between URLs pointing to the site or elsewhere. Public users cannot see the navigation. All other plugins are disabled and the cache is clear. In case he tries to respond properly now. Here is the support you will receive… Me: “When I activate your plugin, the Main Nav header is only visible to logged in users. Is this a bug that will be addressed in the future? Is there a workaround for it? Thank you” Janos: “If a category is part of the menu, but the current user has no access to any posts within it then it gets removed from the menu for the current user only. If this is your case as well, then it is not a bug, but a feature.” Me: “This is not the case. All posts are public. All categories are public. All menu items are categories. No menu items show unless signed in. They should see all posts. There are no private posts.” Janos: “Hmm. Why do you need my plugin then?” That is your support everyone. Good luck.
