AweSplash is a simple plugin that lets you add a welcome page with background image, slide or video to your existing theme. You can use fixed, scrolling or type letter header. Its full responsive and support WP Customizer.

No, AweSplash uses and extends the default WordPress methods and does not replace anything.

They advertise on the splash page and you can’t turn it off. Not worth the download

The best splash page plugin. Easy to use and the plugin do all it promise.
COuld be awesome the chance to have more (linked) buttons to include.

Could be better if the entry button can be moved. Read on the forum that PHP file should be edited, but author didn’t exactly mentioned which part of the file to edit.

I would love to give 5 stars however I have a few problems. Would it be possible to get rid of the buttons all together, and have the splash page automatically take you to the site after a certain amount of time? If this is something that is already possible to do, could someone please help me to figure out how it can be done? As soon as these problems are solved I would be more than happy to give 5 stars!

Best and one of the easiest splash plugin I have used so far.
Super easy to use and thanks to the last update, the content now accept HTML code which was my last issue with this plugin.
